You need a tutor, a photographer, or a web designer—but you don’t want to post your job online and risk getting cold-called by random international numbers. And dealing with big companies that overcharge for subpar work? No thanks.

What you really need is a skilled, reliable professional you can connect with directly. No middlemen, no hassle—just local freelancers you can trust, backed by your own community.

Frequently asked questions
What makes Odjo different?
We’re truly passionate about revolutionising the freelancing market, helping both customers and service providers achieve their goals. We are listening to what people want – less red tape, more money in their pocket, and no annoying middlemen taking extortionate cuts. We're combining the best of a product marketplace with the quality matchmaking services of dating apps. Unlike other platforms, we aim to stay in the background (although premium matchmaking services are coming soon!). The power is in your hands - if you want to message a service provider you can, but you can rest assured knowing that you won’t receive any unwarranted messages.
Is it safe?
When connecting people for in-person services, there is inherently risk involved. Striking the right balance between giving people the freedom to make their own choices and ensuring safety and quality is hard. We’ve decided to embrace safety measures adopted by popular matchmaking/dating apps, including ID verification during our Service Provider onboarding process. Odjo is not meant to be an anonymous platform - no one is faceless, and with our easy reporting mechanisms and peer based review system, we’re committed to keeping our community safe from threats on both sides. Not only that, each service provider can only join our platform through friendly recommendations - creating a self-policing community. To add to that, our first batch of providers have all been interviewed by our team. Still, just like any new interaction with a stranger, we recommend exercising caution when meeting someone for the first time.
Why should I be a service provider with Odjo?
Put simply, we’re doing the hard work for you - gone are the days of having to go door to door to sell yourself - our hyper-focused target marketing ensures the customers who matter most are aware of what you’re offering. As we continue to grow, we’re being extremely selective about who can list their services on our platform. This is for 2 principle reasons. Firstly, in doing so - we can ensure that the Odjo name is associated with only high-quality service providers and secondly - less noise means that you’re a lot more likely to get noticed! This is known as the dilution effect. We’re growing in line with our demand - so the likelihood of your account being buried in a sea of other accounts at any moment is infinitesimally small!
